What is link equity?
Link equity, which some people like to call "link juice," or "link juice" refers to the value that is conveyed by a site when it links to you.
Different sites have different values due to something called domain authority.
The domain authority gives you an idea of how reliable your site is for search engines. This is a numeric value between 1 and 100, so the higher the number, the more trustworthy your site is.
While not used by search engines to determine your site's position in the SERPs, the domain authority can help you determine which sites will pass on backlink fairness the most.
We can discuss this position in another article, since Google uses the page Rank and that Moz and its DA are not used by Google. The most similar factors, for me, are the CF and TF from Majestic.
You can measure your domain authority with the tools of Moz, or your domain ranking with the tools of Ahrefs , or Majestic .
